The theme of each guestroom is based on different continents and world regions, specially designed and decorated with handcrafted art, authentic artifacts and exotic furnishings from the region of the world specific to each room's theme.
The decor of each guestroom authentically depicts its specific region of the world, including exotic furnishings such as tropical ceiling fans, mosquito netting, hammocks, authentic artifacts, musical instruments, handcrafted art and maps from each country, and even live birds, plants and animals native to each region! Each themed room comes complete with a library of matching themed books, videos, music and sound effects to enhance your experience and make you feel like you are really there!

Admire magnificent exotic animals just outside your window. Hike miles of natural surface trails and enjoy acres of God's unspoiled natural beauty, perfect for deer and wild bird watching. Be still and listen to the peaceful sounds of nature. Hug a llama or feed an emu. Take a camel safari or a half-day llama trek with wine and cheese picnic.
Friendly llamas, inquisitive emus, playful macaws and other parrots love visitors. Our Exotic Animal Rescue Ranch includes petable llamas, alpacas, wallabies, deer, emus, Icelandic horses, sheep, reindeer, yaks, zebras, iguanas, swans, peacocks, parrots, macaws, kinkajous, fennec foxes, and sugar gliders.
Guests are welcome to get involved with the care and feeding of our exotic animals, or you can choose to simply watch our experienced staff do their daily chores, or even have your picture taken with the animals! Spring is baby time. Of course, you can always take home an exotic pet of your own, as we have new and used llamas and other exotic animals for sale!
Our Viking Mead Hall can accommodate small groups for wedding receptions, family reunions, class reunions, birthday parties and anniversaries, company parties, club meetings or church retreats. Group-priced activities, such as llama trek picnics, camel rides, pony rides, hay rides, catered meals, and campfire wienie roasts are also available. Murder Mysteries and themed dinners can also be arranged. Exotic animals, jugglers, clowns, unicyclists, stilt-walkers, fire-jugglers, fire-eaters, and fire-breathers available for TV commercials, music videos, corporate/industrial videos, or YOUR special event!
Visit the Welcome Inn Import Gift Shop, and take home some authentic imported gifts as a reminder of your stay - international coffees, wines and cheeses, music and handcrafted artifacts from around the world, exotic animal dolls, peacock, ostrich, and emu feathers, eggs, emu oil, llama sweaters and wool products, or even your own live baby llama, wallaby or other exotic pet (as available).

Exotic Animal Rescue Ranch
We enjoy raising and lovingly caring for a variety of exotic animals, and we are willing to take in and adopt "unwanted" exotic animals from around the world.
We look forward to doing educational programs for school and church groups, daycare centers, nursing homes, and hands-on animal therapy for the physically and mentally handicapped, as well as hiring out our animals for film and video work, commercials, and seasonal events. Please contact us for rates and scheduling (once we have acquired all our animals!)
Of course, you can always take home an exotic pet of your own, as we offer new and used llamas, parrots, kinkajous, fennec foxes, sugar gliders, and other exotic animals for sale (as available).

Llama Treks
Enjoy a guided Llama trek through natural wilderness without having to carry your own backpack! Let our gentle llamas do all the work as you enjoy a safe and enjoyable wilderness hiking experience. Our llama trekking guides are experienced backpackers trained in first aid and CPR.
Our Llama treks vary from half-day (picnic) hikes to two day hiking trips. We have Llama treks for the experienced hiker as well as for the entire family. We can tailor a trek to suit your needs.

If you know someone who is willing to donate (or sell at a great price) 50 to 100+ acres within an hour of the Nashville area, please contact us immediately!
If you are willing to barter or donate time, labor or supplies to help make this dream a reality, please contact us!
We are open to accepting donations of appropriate books, videos, DVDs, CDs, antique or international furniture, instruments, and artifacts, equipment, and produce for the animals.
We are also willing to rescue and adopt certain exotic birds and animals on a limited basis at this time, and on a per case basis after the property is fully developed. Unfortunately, we are not licensed to rescue or rehabilitate native local Tennessee wildlife under Tennessee law at this time.
